Eleri really loves the music of the Ragtime Rascals...especially when i play low notes on her belly.

That's a lot of chocolate cake. She was quite fond of the whole affair. Cosmo was the only innocent victim. He wandered too close to an outstretched fist of chocolate and paid the price.

apparently Eleri's spending a lot of time on the kitchen island these days. but she still finds time to nap with Cosmo...

This is at Eleri's baby dedication at church on Easter Sunday. Holding Eleri is our Pastor, Anita. Will and Kris were in town visiting and were able to attend, as were Rina and Becky. Susan and Becky sang a special song for the occasion, and the church promised to help us chase her around once she gets mobile.... just kidding. The dedication ceremony welcomes her into the church, but is not a baptism --she can choose to be baptised when she is older. She is officially a Mennonite now, like the rest of us.

Here's a big fat post for those of you dying of withdrawal. We've been busy with finishing the house, moving, and taking our first ski trip with Eleri, so here's some photos encompassing all those activities. In some pictures you can catch glimpses of the house, mostly the kitchen. The ski trip was to Ouray, CO. We cross country skiied up the road to Yankee Boy Basin and enjoyed being in the middle of winter, if only temporarily. Eleri had her first ski outing in the new chariot, which we think she enjoyed. Hopefully many more to come, and bike outings too. You can also notice her keen interest in the guide to Ouray activities, which she devoured, literally.
